Bon Voyage

Okay, so I am going to try this. Mike has been posting on this blog, and at the moment he is driving, so here I go(Thanks for the help Pam). Were were originally going to leave today, but decided to leave yesterday(Thanks Darren). We were all packed and ready to go, not to mention anxious. Especially me. I have packed for vacation many times before and never had a problem with it, until now. I have never packed for a 24 day R.V. trip. Packing for four people and a home on wheels was very challenging. Mike kept warning me about weight. He said I had 300 pounds max to pack. Needless to say, that didn't happen. What was he thinking? He has two girls packing for 24 days. Sarah and I took up that 300 pounds just in clothes. Well maybe not that much, but you get the point. It's a good thing we left early, because we are on a time schedule and had a few mishaps, but got them worked out after having to pull over a few times. We stopped at a rest stop around midnight and started driving again first thing this morning. Mammoth Caves, Kentucky here we come.
